Spring Vale Cemetery's new addition...The Preserve is tucked away behind a garden of memories where the beauty of nature is enhanced by 200 year old trees and beautiful edifices that have become timeless memorials for the families who have chosen Spring Vale Cemetery. 

The Preserve is a natural area for burial that is eco-friendly, providing you and your loved ones a who desire a natural environment to complete the circle of life, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. This "new idea", is actually based on a very old idea. The process helps the body to return to the earth to decompose naturally and be recycled into new life. In other words, the vegetation above you...becomes you.

All graves are hand dug, and no vaults are required. All materials must be biodegradable meaning no metals, please see our Covenants above for further information.

In September 2008, we had our first Natural Burial. The experience was unique, memorable and the family participated in the grave closing. Since this burial, we have continued to do them, and have lots preplanned for future burials.
